Our Story
In 2000 Pat Duggan became one of the first scented candle manufacturers in Ireland, setting up the company today known as Scent from Ireland. With his dedicated team he perfected each product he sold and as popularity for the products grew so did the company.
Scent from Ireland soon became synonymous with quality and other companies started to approach Pat about manufacturing on their behalf. So, in 2016, Pat decided to set up Bespoke Candles, offering a complete premium bespoke candle-making service to companies worldwide.
In recent years, Bespoke Candles has reached new heights, increasing capacity with cutting edge machinery and a move to a larger premises. In 2020 Pat’s design for a hair conditioning candle won a Gold Standard Innovation Award. Today Pat is still developing innovative new products and we proudly run our private label service as well as manufacturing promotional corporate giftware.

Pat
Managing Director
Pat is our great innovator who keeps the whole business running smoothly. Pat has over twenty years of experience in the candle making industry and is responsible for creating our new products. Pat’s ingenuity won him a Gold Level Innovation Award in 2020. At your concept design meeting Pat will walk you through the process of designing a product that complements your brand. Pat has worked with so many beautiful scents over the years he finds it hard to narrow down his favourites to just one, but, for Pat, ‘White Wood and Amaryllis’ is hard to beat.
Paulina
Production Manager
Paulina oversees production in the factory she also manages safety and quality testing. Paulina has a keen eye for detail ensuring that every candle we make meets our signature high standards. She works diligently keeping our orders on schedule to meet our customers’ needs. Paulina says she likes working with fragrances that remind her of Christmas, she particularly likes ‘Noble Fir’.
Sinéad
Business Development Manager
Sinéad is responsible for marketing and identifying new opportunities to assist with business growth. She liaises with our new potential clients and also keeps our social media channels updated with interesting content. ‘Irish Glens’, which is used in our own brand, Scent from Ireland, is Sinéad’s favourite fragrance.
Jonny
Warehouse Supervisor
Jonny keeps the warehouse ship-shape and manages incoming and outgoing stock. Jonny also assists with the manufacturing of our customer’s products. Jonny’s favourite fragrance is called ‘Radical’ a blend of Smokey Vanilla, Bergamot and Amber.
